Christians in the Highlands and Islands Region are invited to join the Brother Andrew campaign.

The Highlands and Islands Brother Andrew campaign works like this:

“One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, We have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
And he brought him to Jesus.” John 1:40-42.

If everyone who voted for the Scottish Christian Party in 2007 will find one other voter to vote for the Scottish Christian Party then you will have a Christian Party MSP in Holyrood in 2011.

Stop homosexual 'marriage'

The Scottish Government consultation about redefining marriage to include homosexual couples has finished. Christians are encouraged to write to their MSPs to register their opposition to any legislation along this line, and to write to the SNP Government to encourage them to drop this idea. Re-elect or Resurrect?

Alex Salmond wanted to re-elect the SNP. We want to resurrect a Christian society in Scotland, and de-select the Lib Dems and the Greens.

The north of Scotland does not need to be the poor relation. We have a Vision for the North which makes the north a future driving force for Scottish productivity and trade.

The Highlands and Islands are treated as second class citizens. Our broadband width is laughable. Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, can suffer additonal postal charges as though we were an offshore island. This is an insult. What have the SNP or Lib Dems done about this? We will fight for the consumer, forgotten in this climate of spending cuts but rising prices. We propose a radical solution to consumer debt to force prudent lending policies and to help the consumer.

Save our Police Force

Retain control of Northern Constabulary in the Highlands and Islands: stop Central Belt centralisation. Vote for the Scottish Christian Party to oppose the centralisation of Police services. The new police constable agrees.

Retain the Coastguard stations

on a full time basis in Stornoway and Shetland.

Stop cuts of school classroom assistants

and identify efficiency savings instead.
