What is your Brother Andrew campaign?

It is explained here but briefly it is as follows.

If everyone who voted for the Scottish Christian Party in 2007 will find one other voter to vote for the Scottish Christian Party then you will have a Christian Party MSP in Holyrood in 2011.

Why do you have no candidate in the Western Isles constituency?

We do have a candidate on the Regional List but not for the constituency. So you can still vote for the Scottish Christian Party on the Regional ballot paper.

As far as the Western Isles constituency is concerned, the majority for the SNP in 2007 was 687 over Labour, which is the smallest majority of all the Highlands and Islands constituencies.  In the Western Isles Constituency of Highland Region, the Scottish Christian Party came third with 12.5% of the vote, behind the SNP and Labour, but ahead of the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats.  This shows that our standing in this constituency would therefore have a very significant effect on the outcome of this seat which is a battle between the SNP and Labour.

It is well known that the SCP gave the Western Isles the opportunity to field a candidate for the Christian Party in the 2010 General Election by a Primary process of candidate selection.  When our former candidate came forward as an Independent then we withdrew our candidacy so that the Christian vote would not be split.  In this Holyrood election there is a Christian standing for the Labour Party who is an elder in the Free Church of Scotland, so we will give him the opportunity to secure another Christian Voice for you in Holyrood.
